Have You Any Wool?
This is one of the most interesting fibre books that CyberFibres has had the pleasure of reviewing. Author Jan Messent had compiled fibre facts and projects that inform and inspire the fibre lover. High quality color photographs and clear directions and charts appear throughout the 128-page book.
Techniques include yarn wrapping, knitting, crochet, Mexican weaving, and needleweaving. Extensive coverage is given to blending yarn colors in fibre projects. Just a few of the projects presented include a Fair Isle printer's box, a knitted color wheel, a crochet cobra, miniature sheep with knitted sweaters, and house and garden panels composed of knitting and crochet stitches.
Several projects in Have You Any Wool? would lend themselves to the use of moorit yarns (see Feature). CyberFibers predicts that you will keep this creative book in a place where you can easily find it and draw inspiration from it often. It is a fibre treasure
