Bookmarks Galore

The members of Triangle Needlewomen (seeA han stitched bookmark is an excellent gift, being both beautiful and practical. The booklet, Bookmarks Galore from Leisure Arts, Inc. (Little Rock, AK, 1997), contains sixty six designs for counted cross stitching on pre-finished aida cloth bookmarks. The designs include animals, reading motifs, flowers, Biblical verses, birthday months, and geometric bands. The actual patterns are printed in black and white with floss colors identified by specific symbols on each graph. Color photographs of each design stitched on a bookmark appear on the front and back, as well as on pages 13 and 14 of the 26-page booklet.
Bookmarks Galore is available in stitching shops and craft sections of discount stores. It is listed as Leisure Arts' leaflet #2985. Cyberfibres considers this collection of patterns to be a good investment because the designs are varied and attractive, making the likelihood of their being stitched by you quite high
