Churchill in Stitches
soldiers were depicted on land, sea, and in the air.
CyberFibres was inspired to begin this project by the approach of the 75th anniversary of the WWII years. In its commemoration of WWII, the NC Museum of History sponsored a talk by Celia Sandys – author, lecturer, and granddaughter of Winston Churchill, and CyberFibres took the completed project to the lecture to show her. Ms. Sandys had not seen the design before and was pleased to be able to take photos of the framed work.
CyberFibres was affirmed in her belief that when you stitch, you never know who will appreciate your work!
