The Cross Stitcher
The Cross Stitcher is one of the few cross stitch magazines to have survived the extinction of numerous such publications during the past decade. It is published six times a year by Amos Press in Sidney, Ohio. The magazine features a good variety of design styles, from elegant samplers (see Feature) to informal country motifs. Seasonal subjects and gift ideas abound. Interesting borders can be found that can be incorporated into other patterns. There are frequently Biblical passages and familiar quotations set in stitches for your cross stitching pleasure.
CyberFibres recommends taking a look at this publication in your local bookstore’s periodical section or in your needlework shop.
