Try Felting a Hat
Materials:
2 50-gram balls of HollyBee baby blue wool blend
1 50-gram ball of HollyBee reef combo nylon
Circular needles size 13
Cast on 80 stitches, using circular needles. Join.
Knit one round; purl one round seven times.
All following rows are knitted.
Knit with 2 strands of Eyelash yarn and one strand of wool for 6 rows.
Drop Eyelash yarn.
Continue to knit with baby blue wool blend until second ball of yarn is half gone.
Begin decreasing:
Decrease 10 stitches evenly around one row.
Knit one row.
Repeat these two rows until fewer than 10 stitches remain.
Pull yarn through remaining stitches and weave thread end inside hat.
Your hat it ready to felt!
Place it in a small, netted lingerie bag.
Wash it alone or with a towel in hot water and detergent on the small load setting.
Repeat the wash cycle until the desired degree of felting is obtained.
Shape to dry. Use a wooden hat form or the head of a bald friend.
Enjoy your felted hat.
